I’ve created this blog so that I may share with you my growing knowledge and experiences of fishing, specifically from a kayak. When I was a young boy, age 9, I lived on Lake Tawakoni near Wills Point, TX. At that time I had already developed the uncontrollable fever to fish upon every free moment presented. I remember the last day of school every summer, how I watched the clock, counted the minutes down to when that last bell rang, the way I ran home as fast as I could, how I grabbed my rod and reel, and quickly found myself on either a boat or our neighbor Kyle’s fishing pier. Not much has changed since then. The only differences now are that I watch the clock at work and my vacations are much shorter than a summer. Oh to be a kid again. It never mattered what species was biting. I fished for everything. Nowadays I fish mostly for Bass but I also enjoy fishing for many other species. As a writer I tend to reflect upon my life’s experiences, especially when I’m out on the water. There is where I find clarity or attempt to, anyway. During my fishing adventures I will sometimes share the thoughts that come to me whether they be my personal observations or my experiences when it comes to fishing. My hope is that my candor doesn’t make you too uncomfortable. I’m also here to learn as there’s an opportunity to learn something new every day. Many of you have already taught me a number of things with regard to kayaking, fishing, and anything else I’ve decided to Google. My hope is to return the favor or to, at least, take you along on my journeys where you can interpret and learning for yourself. Thank you for watching. If you enjoy my channel, please subscribe and share it with your friends. Now, let’s go do some fishing!

It’s Finally Here
I wish you could have seen the look on my face when it arrived. It was much like the one in 1982 when my brother and I ripped through the Christmas wrapping paper that had been so carefully taped and folded around the box, a fluffy red bow on top. We dug in like wolves … More It’s Finally Here
